"Keep in mind, we are bringing in staff, providing them training, hooking up the computers, painting, finding furniture, etc. Once everything is in place, we will have a grand opening. We are hopeful to have the office open within the first couple of weeks of January," he said.
The space had been occupied by State Sen. Maria Collett, who moved out due to redistricting in the new 12th Legislative District. Collett has an office in North Wales and is also seeking a more centralized location.
Munroe defeated Republican incumbent Todd Polinchock in the Nov. 8 Midterm Election by about 400 votes, according to results from the Bucks County Board of Elections.
Warminster officials had called Munroe's victory a "win-win" for township residents since Munroe is a former Warminster supervisor and a current township resident.
