The Fuge will serve as the setting of the case “Midnight at the Masquerade,” where the actors will pull you into their world of feathers and masks of secrecy to see if attendees can solve the crime.

“As a William Tennent High School graduate myself, I understand firsthand the value of an
excellent Centennial education," Weintraub said. "I’ll be hosting the Murder Mystery Dinner to have some fun while contributing to a worthy cause: improving our kids’ futures by giving them the great education they deserve. Panther Pride!”

Guests will be able to gather information, search for clues, and even bribe the suspects, all while being immersed in the show.

In addition, a silent art auction will take place during the event, showcasing the art of Ellen Masko, a former art teacher of 35 years at the high school.

“This will be a fabulous night where you can dress up in a fancy gown or suit, wear a Venetian mask, and step out for a fun, intriguing night,” said Jennifer Schultz, the foundation's executive director.

She said the dinner will be the first one that the Centennial Education Foundation has planned.

Each fall members of the board introduce a new event to help raise funds.

“We really enjoy getting the chance to connect and build relationships with the local community. Our board is committed to providing above and beyond educational experiences and we can’t thank Matt Weintraub enough for helping us with this event,” Board President Max Weintraub said.

Tickets for the event are $50 and you can even reserve a whole table for 10 of your closest family,
friends, or co-workers to see which of you can solve the mystery first. Those wanting to purchase tickets can do so on Centennial Education Foundation’s website under Events.

All proceeds of the Murder Mystery Dinner benefit Centennial Education Foundation.

About Centennial Education Foundation
Since 1997, the Centennial Education Foundation has worked diligently to change the lives of the students in the Centennial School district.

With a mission to support educational programs, scholarships, and in-kind donations, the foundation has been successful in giving more than $1 million in grants towards experiences that have benefited more than 100,000 children in the school district.

These programs vary yearly, however, some highlights include anti-bullying, STEM, STEAM, art, reading, language arts, and mental health grants just to name a few. Additionally, during COVID, the foundation added to its mission by raising funds to help feed the community that the school district serves.
