One Of The Country's Best Brunch Spots Is Right Here In Bucks County, New Ranking Says

Still trying to come up with a plan to celebrate mom this Mother's Day? How about treating her to a delicious brunch? You're in luck: one of the best brunch restaurants in the country is right here in Bucks County, according to one new ranking.

OpenTable has released its list of 100 Best Brunch Restaurants In America for 2017, and the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm in Holicong is included. It's the second time this year that the local restaurant has been recognized by OpenTable. In February, it was included on the website's 100 Most Romantic Restaurants In America.

In addition to the local brunch spot, these Pennsylvania spots made the list:

• 187 Rue Principale, Emmaus
• Aksum, Philadelphia
• The Hunt Room at the Desmond Hotel, Malvern
• Terrain Garden Cafe, Glen Mills

To come up with this list, OpenTable said it analyzed more than 10,000,000 reviews of more than 24,000 restaurants across the country. All the reviews were submitted by verified diners.

187 Rue Principale, 187 Main Street, Emmaus

187 Rue Principale is a modern, French-inspired restaurant where the chef prepares meals with fresh ingredients sourced from local farms. The restaurant practices the French custom of no tipping.

Aksum, 4630 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia

Located in vibrant and diverse area of University City, this year-old restaurant features a Mediterranean menu with a focus on simple and fresh ingredients, with accents from Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

The Hunt Room at the Desmond Hotel, One Liberty Boulevard, Malvern

The Desmond's Hunt Room focuses on American Regional Cuisine, offering up steaks and seafood. Specialties include prime beef and fresh seafood.

Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm, 5281 York Road, Holicong

Located in Bucks County, this fresh farm to table restaurant is called a hidden gem. It features seasonal menus for dinner and brunch. It's a BYOB situated on pristine Bucks County countryside.

Terrain Garden Cafe, 914 Baltimore Pike

Terrain Cafe celebrates the cycle of the seasons and the bounty of the land by using hand-selected local produce, meats and dairy products. Seasonal menus showcase various ingredients at their peak of freshness.
