PECO Equipment Installation For Warminster Intersection

Aerial equipment will be installed and pole replaced at the intersection of Little Lane and Glazer Road in Warminster. Work begins Oct. 12.

WARMINSTER, PA —PECO has planned work for a township intersection starting on Oct. 12.

The utility stated in a letter posted on the township's website that it will install aerial equipment to protect transformers from overloading and surges and will replace a pole.

The work is scheduled for the intersection of Little Lane and Glazar Road and is expected to begin Oct. 12.

Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. PECO did not state when the work would conclude.

PECO said it had recently inspected electrical equipment in the area for potential issues. The equipment installation is a result of that inspection.

PECO said it would work with township officials to keep traffic disruption at a minimum and to keep residents updated on any power interruptions.
