Pedestrian Struck On Street Road In Warminster
Police were calling the Monday night crash a hit and run, but later said they had found the driver.
WARMINSTER, PA — A pedestrian was struck on Street Road in Warminster Monday night in what police were calling a hit and run collision.
According to Warminster Township Police, the victim was hit in the westbound lanes of Street Road near Mary Road. Street Road between Mary and Mearns roads was shut down as police responded to the collision.
Police said a blue vehicle hit the victim and drove away from the scene. At about 11 p.m., they announced on social media that the driver and vehicle had been located.

Police did not publicly announce the victim's identity or medical condition Monday night. Patch has reached out to police for more information and will update this post when it becomes available.
It also was unclear Tuesday morning whether charges will be filed in the case.

The crash marked the second time in one day that Street Road in that area was shut down. Earlier Monday, it was closed amidst heavy winds when a pole was threatening to fall into the road.
