The YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties has changed names. Meanwhile, two eateries focusing on Indian fare are opening.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Indian fare seemed to be popular this week as the openings of two eateries focusing on Indian cuisine were announced —including one with a twist on pizza.
Meanwhile, the YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is no more, joining forces with another YMCA organization with the changes including a new name.

Indian-Fusion Pizzeria Chooses Bucks For 2nd PA Location
An "Indian-Fusion" pizzeria is opening its first location in Bucks County and second one in Pennsylvania. Pizza Twist will open at the Centre Plaza in Bensalem. Pizza Twist currently has more than 80 locations across the country, including Pittsburgh and six locations in New Jersey, with the closest in Cherry Hill. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Walgreens Closing 'Significant Number' Of Stores
Walgreens has announced it will close a "significant number" of underperforming stores, following Rite Aid and others as pharmacy chains across the country continue to shrink. The company operates 100 stores in Pennsylvania. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

SoBol Yardley Closes Operations Just Shy Of 2 Years
After less than two years of operation, SoBol Yardley has shut its doors. Owner Todd Stecker announced the closure Monday for the business known for its smoothies and fruit bowls. Stecker said the business will transition to a new owner and brand. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

"Every Bite Tells A Story" At Doylestown's Newest Indian Restaurant
Doylestown's newest restaurant can be found tucked away in a corner of the Mercer Square Shopping Center at 73 Old Dublin Pike. Aptly named, "Secret Indian Kitchen," the restaurant quietly opened its doors at the end of May just a few doors down from Lucatelli's Pizzeria. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Bucks County YMCA Merges, Changes Name
The YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is merging with another to become one regional organization. YMCA officials said the boards of Greater Valley YMCA and YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties have voted to become one YMCA. The merger began on Monday. The organization is now known as the River Crossing YMCA. (Read this Patch story for more details.)
