Police Seek Suspect Who Stole $2,000 In Walmart Items

WARMINSTER, PA —Warminster Township Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole $2,000 worth of goods from Walmart and fled through a fire exit door in the back of the building.

The Warminster Township Police Department responded to the Walmart on 100 E. Street Rd. at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 10, for the report of a retail theft.

Police said the store had received an alarm activation from a fire exit door in the rear of the store. Video surveillance footage showed that a man had set off the alarm while exiting the store with a shopping cart full of items that were valued at $2,019.13.

Police said the man took numerous electronic speakers and other miscellaneous items.

Video surveillance shows a heavyset man wearing a black jacket, a gray sweatshirt, and a white and blue baseball cap, police said.

After exiting the store, the man is seen entering a gray Nissan Maxima that was parked in the back of the store.

Police said the vehicle was being operated by another man. Police did not have a description of that person.
