Doylestown welcomes two new businesses. Meanwhile, there's a spring job fair in Bucks County early next month.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Popcorn and pizza. The perfect combination.

Over the past week or so, two new businesses popped up in Doylestown. One is Great American Popcorn, right next to Siren Records on East State Street. The other is HG Coal Fired Pizza, which already has a home in Warrington, but will be filling the space of the former Steak and Hoagie Factory at 103 S. Main St.

In Warminster, everyone is watching with anticipation over the Arby's that is coming on Street Road. Construction has been touch and go so far due to several issues.

With spring's arrival, it's time for tasty treats. Ice House locations in Yardley Borough and Newtown Borough just recently opened in time for warmer temperatures.

Spring also brings another job fair. There's one planned on April 9 in Northampton Township.

Meanwhile, Raising Cane's —which has two locations in Bucks County —is opening its first location in Montgomery County.

Great American Popcorn Works Pops Up In Doylestown

The Telford-based store has opened a retail shop on East State Street next to Siren Records in Doylestown. The new store is owned by a familiar face to Doylestown - Fire Marshal Scott Fleischer, who also serves as chief of the Point Pleasant Fire Company. His brother, Steve, runs the Telford store which has been in operation since 1978 and in the Fleischer family for the past two decades. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Arby's Construction Stalled In Warminster

As residents and township officials salivate at the thought of having an Arby's in Warminster, many are asking what's the holdup for building and opening the fast food location on Street Road. Construction seems to have stalled due to a few issues. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Ice House Starting A New Season In Newtown, Yardley

Newtown and Yardley will again be enjoying one of the best hand-crafted gourmet water ices in Bucks County. Jackie and Todd McGonigal recently reopened their popular Ice House locations in Yardley Borough and Newtown Borough for another season of frozen treats. This year marks the second year for the Newtown store, which celebrated its grand opening in 2023 on North State Street, and the 30th anniversary of the Yardley store. HG Coal Fired Pizza Coming To Doylestown Borough

HG Coal Fired Pizza in Warrington and Chesterbrook is coming to Doylestown Borough. The family-owned and operated business will soon be serving its signature coal-fired pizza and traditional Neapolitan pies at the former site of the Steak and Hoagie Factory at 103 S. Spring Job Fair Promises 100s Of Jobs In Bucks

More than a dozen employers so far have signed on for RecruitmentQueen’s Bucks County Spring Job Fair, which has changed locations after being held in the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem Township. Raising Cane's Expanding Into Montgomery County
