Arby's Construction Stalled In Warminster
Warminster Township officials address the work at the old Saladworks site on Street Road.

WARMINSTER, PA —It may be worth the wait.
As residents and township officials salivate at the thought of having an Arby's in the township, many are asking what's the holdup for building and opening the fast food location.
Some people have posted in several Warminster Facebook community pages about which eatery would arrive first: the Arby's on Street Road of McAllister's in Warrington.

But there's been little activity at the site which once housed the old Saladworks on Street Road in front of the Giant Shopping Center at Center Point Place.
At Thursday night's Warminster Township Supervisors meeting, Supervisor Janice Charlton just had to ask the question, seeking a status report on the project.
"A lot of people are asking me the question, what's happening with the Arby's?" Charlton asked Township Engineer Craig Kennard.
"There are a lot of internal issues with the building as far as lighting and wiring," Kennard responded.
He didn't have a timetable about when Arby's would begin extensive construction at the site.
Arby's —whose slogan is "We Have the Meats!"—is a fast-food sandwich chain with more than 3,300 restaurants across the country. It was founded in 1964 and is famous for its roast beef sandwiches.
An Arby's is located on East Street Road in Feasterville. There's also an Arby's in the Levittown Town Center on the Levittown Parkway.
