'Potential' Safety Threat Postpones William Tennent High Football Game
Game was scheduled away against Central High School Friday afternoon. A makeup date has yet to be announced.
WARMINSTER, PA —A potential safety threat postponed William Tennent High School's varsity football away game Friday, school officials said.
High School Principal Julie Henrich said the Centennial School District administration was made aware late Friday morning of a "potential safety threat" at the game scheduled against Central High School for 3 p.m. was postponed.
"We take all concerns of this type very seriously," said Henrich, who stated that the threat was immediately reported to the Warminster Police Department for their investigation, direction, and support.

No details were provided regarding the safety threat.
The notice was posted on the police department's Facebook page.

Due to the ongoing investigation, the game has been postponed out of an abundance of caution," the principal said. "I know this is disappointing for our students and families, as well as for our opponents' players and families, but safety will always be the highest priority at William Tennent.
School officials did not announce when the game would be rescheduled.
