State Rep. Munroe Gets Committees, Sets Open House In Warminster
State Rep. Brian Munroe, a military veteran, will serve on the veteran affairs committee. A district office open house is set for March 25.

WARMINSTER, PA —New State Rep. Brian Munroe has announced his committee assignments for the 2023-2024 legislative season.
Munroe, who began his tenure on Jan. 1 as state representative of the 144th Legislative District., said he has received his committee assignments which include consumer protection, insurance, local government, and veterans affairs.
He said the district has a high population of veterans.

"As a military veteran myself, this committee is one that I am most excited about," Munroe said in a Facebook post. "I couldn’t be prouder to serve on this committee and roll up my sleeves to have a positive impact on my fellow veterans."
Meanwhile, Brian Munroe will officially mark the opening of his district office in Warminster.

He will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25. The office is located at 1410A W. Street Road in Warminster.
The public is invited to tour the office, enjoy refreshments and meet Munroe and his district staff, who are available to help residents with a variety of state-related services.
Services include income tax issues, assistance programs (such as SNAP and WIC), filing for unemployment compensation, senior services (such as SEPTA Senior Key Cards), and much more.
“I’m excited to get to know our community better, and for them to get to know me and my staff and the ways we can help them,” Munroe said. “I want to make everyone in the 144th District aware that my office is a resource for them. I hope to greet many new faces.”
The 144th Legislative District serves Warminster, Ivyland, Warrington, and New Britain.
Munroe defeated Republican incumbent Todd Polinchock in the Nov. 8 Midterm Election by about 400 votes, according to results from the Bucks County Board of Elections.
Warminster officials had called Munroe's victory a "win-win" for township residents since Munroe is a former Warminster supervisor and a current township resident.
