Target Opening, Trump Store Sales Soaring: Bucks Business Brief

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Former President Donald Trump's recent assassination attempt has bolstered sales this week for two businesses: a bakery and the Trump Store.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited announcement that Target is finally opening in Doylestown Borough is a little more legit: There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the retailer is opening on Sunday.

TD Bank Branch Closing In Bensalem Township

TD Bank is closing its branch in Bensalem Township, among 20 that are shutting down in nine states in the country. The bank branch closure is the second in the region with a Bucks County after closing a branch earlier this year. In May, TD Bank announced it was closing its branch in Hatboro in nearby Montgomery County. (Read more on Patch)

A Bucks County lawyer and his business partners are working to bring a popular New England handcrafted protein shake and smoothie bar to New Hope. Trump Store Swamped Since Assassination Attempt

Mike Domanico brought 80 shirts into the Trump Store Tuesday morning and the audience cheered. It's a T-shirt with an Associated Press photo of former President Donald Trump pumping his fist in the air and saying "Fight, Fight, Fight" after an assassination attempt during an outdoor rally in Butler Saturday evening. Occasional Flowers Opens In Yardley

New businesses are popping up in the borough with a floral and gift shop among the latest. Occasional Flowers specializes in custom designs using silk and dried materials. Its shop, located at 43 South Main St., held its grand opening in June. (Read more on Patch)

Take A Look Inside Doylestown’s New Target Store
