Warminster Library Holding First Large-Scale Event In 4 Years
The free inaugural Family Camp-In Library Adventure takes place on Saturday. It's the first main event since 2019, library officials said.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Warminster Library will hold its first large-scale event since 2019 with its family camp-in celebration on Saturday.
The free inaugural Family Camp-In Library Adventure takes place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at the Warminster Library at 1076 Emma Lane.
"We hope to make it an annual tradition," Library Director Peter Lehu said.

The indoor children’s fair will teach children about the free resources at their library and improve informational literacy in our community.
Organized and sponsored by our sister organization, the Friends of Warminster Library, the Library Adventure is a multimedia experience themed around local Pennsylvania wildlife and camping.

As a PA Forward-certified library, the Warminster Library will feature activities designed to encourage children to boldly explore their library, including woodland-themed games, scavenger hunts, and creative projects.
The camp-in will also feature educational performances, including a live animal show by the Elmwood Park Zoo, a musical sing-along with acclaimed children’s songwriter Peter Moses, storytelling by our librarians, and a stargazing exhibit from the Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association.
Camp-themed refreshments will be served such as hot dogs and s’mores.
Registration is currently closed with 275 people already registered.
The event is free to attendees and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and local businesses.
