Warminster Township Manager's Contract Extended
Warminster Township Supervisors unanimously approved a two-year extension for Township Manager Tom Scott at its recent meeting.

WARMINSTER, PA —He's a key to the township's government, the man responsible for running its day-to-day municipal operations.
And he's sticking around for a few more years at least.
The Warminster Township Supervisors unanimously approved a contract extension for Township Manager Tom Scott that keeps him under lock and key in the township's municipal building through Dec. 31, 2025.

In what was called a "first amendment to an employee agreement," Scott's contract was amended from its original deal that was agreed to on Nov. 18, 2021.
Scott will receive raises of 3.25 percent in 2024 and 3.5 percent in 2025.

Township officials said that all other terms and conditions of the November 2021 agreement remain the same.
"We're thrilled with the team this board has put together. We have an incredible management team, balanced budgets, and great police and fire departments. You're at the top," Supervisors Chairman Kenneth Hayes said of Scott. "We're happy to renew this employee agreement."
Scott said the board of supervisors has a "great dynamic."
"When I came in here, I didn't know what to expect," Scott said. "We have an amazing management staff."
"We're looking forward to working with you for another year," Hayes said.
"It's for two years," Scott said as everyone chuckled.
