Warrington Township Meeting Scheduled

Topic will be Homestead Exemption for Township Residents

The next meeting of the Warrington Township Board of Supervisors is scheduled for June 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Administration Building located at 852 Easton Road, Warrington, PA. The topic for discussion will be consideration of a homestead exemption for township residents. The meeting is open to the public.

Since Warrington Township is a growing community with stable finances, the Board of Supervisors decided to look into the feasibility of making such an exemption available.

“We are exploring the possibility of decreasing the tax burden of residents who own and live in a single-family housing unit,” said Vice-Chair of the Board of Supervisors Ruth Schemm. “We hope residents will come out to learn more and share their views on the subject.”
