Wegmans Project Getting PJ's Pancake House In Lower Makefield Twp.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —It has a CVS and a Chase Bank. It's also getting a restaurant.

Now Prickett Preserve is getting a second eatery around the second Bucks County Wegmans, which will open its doors on March 20.

PJ's Pancake House will make its first venture into Pennsylvania though the eatery has not provided an opening date for its move into Prickett Preserve at 930 Stony Hill Road.

The pancake house has six locations in New Jersey and is expected to open two more there besides the one in Bucks County. The locations include Princeton, West Windsor, and Ewing.

PJ’s Pancake House has been serving up delicious pancakes and home-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites since 1962, according to its website.

With a rich family-owned heritage, PJ’s Pancake House is one of the oldest pancake houses in the country.

For decades PJ’s has been dedicated to bringing the best pancakes around and expanded their additions to include steak and seafood, mac and cheeses, burgers, milkshakes, salads, grilled cheeses, and more.

The Wegmans is the centerpiece of the Prickett Preserve development, which includes nine multi-family buildings containing 200 apartment units plus a clubhouse with a pool, and seven commercial buildings totaling 52,000 square feet.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill will be opening its first Bucks County location there as well.

Plans were approved for the project by DeLuca Homes in April 2021.

During a "sneak peek" media tour of its 88,000-square-foot supermarket on Stony Hill Road, Wegmans officials announced that its new location will open at 9 a.m. on March 20.
