Jan. 14, 2015 Event Encourages Students to Explore Learning Opportunities
WARMINSTER---William Tennent High School will host Course Selection Night on January 14, 2015. Students in grades 8-11 are invited to attend with their parents and learn about required courses and electives being offered at the high school. The event is scheduled to run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Anyone who has tried to select a course based on a brief description knows how overwhelming it can be. Course Selection Night introduces students to the many and varied high school courses that are available and encourages participants to talk to teachers, peruse textbooks and examine the topics covered on the course syllabus. As they investigate their options, students are urged to consider how their choices will foster their interests and further their long range goals.
