William Tennent High School to Host Moving Spring Concert Concert is Scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2015

The concert will feature a repertoire of different styles of music that represent various music periods.

WARMINSTER, PA---William Tennent High School will present a very special Spring Concert on May 20, 2015. The community is invited to attend and enjoy performances by the school’s chorus, chorale, Madrigals, concert band, orchestra, and woodwind ensemble.

The concert will feature a repertoire of different styles of music that represent various music periods, which include classical, jazz and multi-cultural. A poignant highlight of the performance will be a song performed in memory of Rose Roccamo who passed away last August after a courageous battle with cancer. Roccamo was a William Tennent graduate and musician. Two of her children are graduates of William Tennent, and her daughter Rosi and son Robert are current students who share their mother’s love of music. Rosi is a Madrigal Singer and will accompany the choir on the piano with one of her mother’s favorite songs, “The Prayer.”

Senior Quincy Crowther has been invited to conduct one of the chorus songs. As is the tradition at William Tennent, if a student plans to major in music following graduation, that student chooses a song to conduct. Crowther will major in music therapy at Shenandoah University.
