William Tennent Jerseys Donated To Africa School
A Uganda school has received William Tennent Panther basketball and track jerseys.

WARMINSTER, PA —Take a visit to Uganda and you might see something familiar.
In early October, the Centennial School District and William Tennent High School made contributions of WT Panther basketball jerseys, track jerseys, and other items to a school in Uganda, Africa.
The jerseys were delivered by Sandi Biggins of Semanoff Ormsby Greenberg & Torchia, LLC.

"A simple gesture can change the lives of countless students globally and for that, we are beyond proud," the school district said.

- During the Nov. 28 school board meeting, the William Tennent Alumni Association donated a $3,000 check to support the enhancement of the William Tennent library. The donation will help fund the digitization of all past and present William Tennent yearbooks, making them accessible to the public.
- The school board congratulated the William Tennent High School Varsity girls' soccer team for outstanding achievement in becoming the 2023 Suburban One Freedom Division champions. The team finished 14-4, including a 9-1 record in the league, 2-0 in non-league games, and 3-3 in crossover games. Securing the No. 13 spot among 28 playoff qualifiers "is a testament to their hard work and commitment to success," the district said.
