• Furry volunteers help brighten days at WellSpan hospitals (wellspan.org) — Pet therapy teams, including one that regularly visits WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital, are using their dogs to lift spirits for patients, families, and staff across the WellSpan system. Volunteers share moving stories of nonverbal patients responding, anxious families relaxing, and children brightening up when they can pet or read to the dogs, while the program continues to seek new local volunteers.
