WEST CHESTER, PA — An employee at a senior living facility in Chester County has been arrested for calling in several bomb threats, the District Attorney's Office announced. Tucker then threatened to come and shoot other employees, according to the DA's Office.

A large law enforcement response, involving several surrounding agencies and emergency services personnel, responded to the scene. Around 150 senior residents were safely evacuated from the facility while the premises were thoroughly searched.

Among those responders was a 35-year-old Perkiomen Township man and Lower Providence K-9 officer who has since tested positive for coronavirus.

During the incident, Chester County Commissioners said he had direct contact with four West Goshen police officers and two Chester County Sheriff's K-9 deputies.

Health officials are tracing the activity of these officers to determine who else they may have been in contact with, but they believe these officers are unlikely they spread the virus.

"There is minimal risk to anyone who has come into contact with them because they are not showing any symptoms," Chester County Health Department Director Jeanne Casner said in a statement.

Nothing was found during the search of the building, and all residents and employees were allowed back inside by late afternoon.

Tucker was arrested on March 11 and charged her with terroristic threats, false alarms to agencies of public safety, tampering with evidence, and related counts.
