10 Inches of Snow Already Reported In West Chester

There is already more than 18 inches of snow on the ground jn West Chester, and the storm is forecasted to last at least another 12 hours.

According to measurements made by residents in certain parts of Phoenixville and the surrounding area at about 11 a.m., snow had exceeded 18 inches.

Snow drifts were piling up to four feet.

Chester County’s Emergency Operations Center reports the storm will reach upwards of 30 inches in the area.

Snow is expected to continue through Sunday morning. Residents are asked to stay off the roads and avoid travel.
