“Chester County has a vast social service network, but many people either aren’t aware of the services and support that are available, have difficulty accessing the services, or both,” says Denise Antonelli, President of the Board of Directors of ACT in Faith and an associate with law firm Gawthrop Greenwood, PC. “Get It Done Day was designed to bring as many services as possible under one roof for a day, so the un- and under-employed have ‘one-stop’ access to the services they need. Connecting people to those services is central to the mission of ACT in Faith, so taking a lead role in coordinating Get It Done Day was a natural fit.”

“Service to the Chester County community is part of our charter,” says Rebecca Worthington, Marketing Director at Benchmark Federal Credit Union, one of the participating organizations. “Our team is excited to dedicate the day to meeting with people who need assistance with financial matters, including budgeting, opening savings and checking accounts and completing loan applications on the spot!”
