MTV Star To Remain Jailed In PA, Judge Rules

The former MTV star appeared in court in Chester County Monday.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Former "Jackass" star Bam Margera must remain in Chester County Prison after a violation of his probation, a judge ruled after an appearance in court Monday morning.

Margera must complete an drug and alcohol evaluation before any further ruling can be made, according to numerous reports, including 6ABC and NBC Philadelphia. The reports stated that Margera was crying during the proceedings.

His next court appearance to determine coming steps is slated for Wednesday at 9 a.m., court documents show.

Margera was arrested last week following a drunk driving incident in Fulton County, in south-central Pennsylvania, which violated the terms of his probation. This comes after he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in June after a physical confrontation with his brother and other family members last year. Margera, 44, was sentenced to six months probation at the time, court records show.
