The traveling horses, a symbol of the Anheuser-Busch company since 1933, make hundreds of appearances throughout the year, and have previously participated in events in other local municipalities like Ambler, Pottstown, and Royersford.
According to organizers, Budweiser Clydesdale horses must be at least three years old, six feet tall, and weigh 200 pounds.
During the early 20th century, the Clydesdales delivered beer by wagon. They traveled with a dalmatian to protect the horses and their goods while they were on the road.
