Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Crozer Medical Plaza

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake, Crozer-Keystone will host a free, family-friendly community event at its Crozer Brinton Lake buildings at 300 and 500 Evergreen Drive in Glen Mills on Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. until noon.

All ages are invited to the event, which will feature:

• Refreshments and giveaways
• Health information, screenings and flu shots
• Performances throughout the morning, including local favorites Making Music Rockin’ Rhythms and Mr. Scott the Music Man
• Children’s activities
• Ceremonial cake-cutting featuring local elected officials
• Tours and scavenger hunt to meet physicians and staff members throughout both buildings.

“Over the past 10 years, Crozer Brinton Lake has become a destination for people of all ages in western Delaware County, eastern Chester County and northern Delaware,” says Patrick Gavin, chief operating officer and executive vice president with Crozer-Keystone. “We’re proud that the community embraced us immediately, and it’s been the dedication and loyalty of our patients that has allowed us to expand our services into the comprehensive Crozer Brinton Lake complex. We now offer more than two dozen medical specialties and centers for cancer care, medical imaging, outpatient surgery, pain management, sleep medicine and more.”

When Crozer-Keystone opened the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake, 300 Evergreen Drive, in Glen Mills back in 2005, the health system was ahead of the curve in terms of bringing high-quality, patient-centered health care services in an outpatient setting to this part of the region. Because of the success of the facility, Crozer-Keystone opened the Crozer Health Pavilion, 145 S. Brinton Lake Rd. in Glen Mills, in 2007; and then the Crozer Medical Plaza and Crozer-Keystone Cancer Center at Brinton Lake in 2011.

Together, the three buildings are known as Crozer Brinton Lake, making up the most comprehensive outpatient complex in the region. The Crozer Brinton Lake buildings have approximately 141,500 square feet in combined space and feature 500 free parking spaces. The number of care visits delivered annually at the facilities is 150,000 and counting.
