Chesco Man Had Numerous Sexual Encounters With 14-Year-Old: Cops

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A Chester County man has been arrested after numerous sexual encounters with a young teenage girl, police said.

Luis Miguel Acosta-Espinoza, 22, of Kennett Square, was long suspected of inappropriate activity by the 15-year-old girl's father, authorities said.

On Jan. 16, the father returned to his New Garden home and noticed Acosta-Espinoza's car parked nearby, authorities said.

He called police to the scene, and they found Acosta-Espinoza lying naked on the living room floor next to the clothed teen, according to police.

An investigation determined that Acosta-Espinoza had met her through social media and knew how old she was, authorities said.

Acosta-Espinoza had at least a dozen sexual encounters with her, dating back to last summer, police said.

Acosta-Espinoza was taken to Chester County Prison after failing to post $1 million bail. He's been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault and indecent exposure, and corruption of minors.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
