Chesco Vehicle Repair Company Scammed Thousands Of Residents: AG

The Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against the local company, which they said took money for vehicle repairs and never completed them.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A Chester County automobile warranty company is being sued by the Pennsylvania Attorney General after they said they scamming thousands of customers with fake car repair contracts.

Delta Auto Protect, based in Exton, sold vehicle service and repair contracts to clients in multiple states, then never did any of the work they promised they would, officials said.

The civil lawsuit filed this week seeks to get money back for the victims who were scammed.

Attorney General Josh Shapiro said that "many" customers had complained to officer about the issue.

"This rude and illegal treatment of customers is unwarranted," Shapiro said in a statement. "We are listening, and we are taking action to get their money back."

Delta is run by Omega Vehicle Services LLC, and managing member Charles Seruya.

When confronted for receiving no work, Delta then refused to refund customers, put them "endlessly on hold" and did not return messages, according to the lawsuit.

Repair shops who were contracted also did not get paid, Shapiro added.
