Chesco Woman Stole $34K From Senior Victim In Her Care: Cops

A Chester County woman stole more than $34,000 from a senior woman whom she was taking care of, police said.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A Chester County woman stole more than $34,000 from a senior victim whom she was taking care of, authorities said.

Charlique Boggs, 35, of Coatesville, has been charged with multiple felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and access device fraud.

Boggs stole the cash over a six-month period during which she was caring for a 68-year-old woman in West Whiteland, police said.

The victim told police that someone had withdrawn money from her account for car payments.

Boggs became a suspect because her name was linked to the two car payments, authorities said.

She was arraigned on Feb. 11, and bail was set at $50,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 27.
