Chester Co. Holding Free Naloxone Give Away Day
In an effort to stop overdoses, free doses of naloxone will be available around the county.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — In an effort to stop overdoses, free doses of naloxone will be available around Chester County during a special event next week.
The event, Stop Overdoses in PA: Get Help Now Week, is a statewide initiative put together by the state Department of Health. Officials call it the largest one-day naloxone distrbution in the country.
Two Chester County locations will distribute the kits.

Organizers said the initiative is aimed at those who aren't able to get naloxone from the pharmacy, for individuals who have a substance use disorder, and for family and friends of someone in crisis.
Doses will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13 at the following locations:
