Chester County Officials To Hold Public Meeting On Opioid Epidemic

First responders, law enforcement, and the public will gather in Chester County to discuss the continuing fight against drug abuse.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- First responders, law enforcement, and the public will gather in Chester County to discuss the continuing fight against drug abuse.

The event will include speakers from a range of specialties, including the District Attorney's Office, the local ambulance corps, and the health department.

The meeting, open to the public, will be held on Wednesday night at Fame Fire Co. No. 3 in West Chester.

Speakers at the event will include the following:

  • Michael Noone - Chester County District Attorney’s Office
  • Kathy Collier - Chester County Drug and Alcohol Services
  • Vince Brown - Chester County Drug and Alcohol Services
  • Ethan Healey - Good Fellowship Ambulance
  • Kimberly Liao- Chester County Health Department

Six people died from drug overdoses in West Chester in 2016, and a total of 97 died from overdoses across Chester County.
