'Dangerous' Dog Captured After Attack In Chester County
The attack left one victim hospitalized, authorities said, and the one-year-old dog has been confined.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A dog was captured by police following an attack in Chester County this week.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 9 in Parkesburg on the 500 block of W. 4th Avenue.
The victim was walking down the street when the loose dog, later identified as a one-year-old German Shephard, launched itself at him, police said.

The man was bitten and cut on his legs, and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was treated.
Police captured the dog, which they called "dangerous," shortly thereafter. The owner was discovered to be a resident of the 400 block of Chestnut Street.

The dog is up to date on all his vaccinations. The dog has been confined to his own for a mandatory 10 days, by police order.
SPCA and police filed a Dangerous Dog Report with the state and said they were considering further action.
