Explore Things Beyond Resemblance: James Welling Photographs in a dynamic dialogue between James Welling and Alex Klein, The Dorothy and Stephen R. Weber Program Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania, and a former student of Welling at UCLA. Held in the gallery, the program will include an engaging discussion of Wellings first use of digital manipulation and the role of homage in his creative process. Seating will be provided in the gallery. The Museum will open at 5:30 p.m. with the program at 6 p.m., followed by a reception.
