About Downingtown Rock Gym
The Downingtown Rock Gym (formerly Vertical Extreme) is a community based indoor rock climbing gym in Chester County outside of Philadelphia. With over 10,000 square feet of indoor rock climbing, offering bouldering, top rope, auto belays and lead climbing. Downingtown Rock Gym walls include overhangs, boulders, aretes, chimneys, caves, and lead walls. Rock climbing is for all ages and abilities. Beginner rock climbing lessons, advanced rock climbing lessons, outdoor rock climbing and lead climbing lessons are offered with group rates available.
