Firefighters Extinguish Blaze At West Chester Apartment

Battling freezing cold temperatures, firefighters put out a blaze at a West Chester apartment complex Thursday.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Battling freezing cold temperatures, firefighters put out a blaze at a West Chester apartment complex Thursday.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours on Thursday, Jan. 31 at the Sharpless Works Apartments on E. Chestnut Street.

The Fame Fire Company said the blaze was restricted to just one apartment, was put out "quickly."

Goshen Fire Company also assisted on the scene as wind chills hovered barely above zero.

No injuries were reported.
