Horse Stuck In Mud Rescued In West Chester: Cops

Police and first responders helped rescue a horse stuck in the mud in West Chester Wednesday morning.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Authorities helped rescue a horse stuck in the mud in West Chester early Wednesday morning.

The incident was first reported at around 8 a.m. on the 800 block of Valley Creek Road in West Chester.

The West Bradford Fire Company, East Bradford Township Public Works Department, West Chester Police Department, and additional crews responded to the scene.

It was not clear how long the horse had been in the mud.

After hours of work, they were eventually able to free the animal safely. The horse is healthy and is expected to be fine.
