Kilo Of Meth, Half Kilo Of Heroin Found In Chesco Drug Bust: DA
The drug trafficker ran meth and fentanyl-laced herion from Mexico and California to Chester County, officials said.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A drug trafficking organization that ferried crystal meth and fentanyl-laced herion from Mexico and California to Chester County has been busted, officials announced Thursday.
Jose Uriel Arreola-Ortiz, 27, who has an address in Merced, California, but is a Mexican national residing in the United States illegally, has been arrested and charged.
Arreola-Ortiz was first investigated when a confidential informant met him in Chester County in March 2019. The CI set up a deal to purchase a kilo of crystal meth from him. Arreola-Ortiz told him to put the money in a bank account under a false name, police said.

Once the money was in, Arreola-Ortiz mailed the meth to the CI. They communicated further, and Arreola-Ortiz agreed to sell him more meth, as well as heroin. On Aug. 29, the CI received the next package; instead of heroin, it contained mostly fentanyl that had been mixed with heroin, according to the DA's office.
Arreola-Ortiz returned to Chester County on Sept. 11 to pick up payment for the drugs, and he was met by detectives in Oxford and taken into custody.
