Kitten Rescued From West Chester Storm Drain
Heroic efforts on Thursday rescued a tiny and stranded black kitten from a storm drain in West Chester.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Heroic efforts on Thursday rescued a tiny and stranded black kitten from a storm drain in West Chester.
A resident called the Brandywine Valley SPCA, headquartered in the borough, to report a cat stuck in the drain.
Public Works crews arrived on the scene and opened the drain.

Then the BVSPCA's Animal Protective Services officer shimmied down the drain.
Moments later, he emerged with a tiny ball of black fuzz: a four week old kitten.

The kitten, dubbed "Stormy," is in excellent health, the SPCA reports.
He will head into foster care before a loving forever home is found for him.
