Las Vegas Elder Fraud Suspect Captured In Chester County: Cops

The woman was wanted by Las Vegas police on over 200 felony counts of theft, exploitation, perjury, and related counts.

A woman wanted by Las Vegas police for elder fraud was captured on Wednesday by the Westt0wn-East Goshen Police Department, authorities said.

The location of April Lynn Parks, 52, was given to authorities at around 4 p.m. Wednesday while she was at a local business.

Parks was arrested without incident.

She was allegedly running a business which provided for several elderly and disabled individuals in Las Vegas, but ultimately used their money for illicit purposes, police said.

Parks has been charged with one felony county of racketeering, 42 felony counts of thefts, 19 felony counts of exploitation of an older person, 18 felony counts of exploitation of a vulnerable person, 74 felony counts of offering false instruments for filing, and 58 felony counts of perjury, authorities said.

Parks was remanded to Chester County Prison pending extradition to Clark County, Nevada.

The FBI assisted police from Westtown-East Goshen, Willistown, and East Whiteland.
