West Chester Student welcomes you to Munchkinland at Walnut Street Theatre.

This holiday season, young talent from West Chester will take the stage at Philadelphia’s most popular theatre company. Walnut Street Theatre’s production of the all-time classic musical,The Wizard Of Oz, celebrated its opening last week and continues through January 8th.

West Chester student Louise Sims is scheduled to appear at the Walnut in all weekend performances of The Wizard Of Oz, where she plays a Munchkin. No stranger to the stage, Sims first fell in love with musical theatre at age 5 when a family friend cast her in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Harriton High School in Bryn Mawr. In addition to being cast in two more productions at the high school, she has continued performing at Limelight Performing Arts Center in her hometown of West Chester.

Sims, along with her 29 Munchkin cast-mates, are all members of The Theatre School at Walnut Street Theatre.
