Main Line real estate in the first six months of 2014 decreased according to the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report. The number of homes sold in the first six months of 2014 was 1,232, down 16.1 percent from 1,468 homes sold in the first six months of 2013. Median home prices increased 3.7 percent to $399,250 in the first six months of 2014, compared to the median sale price of the first six months of 2013, which stood at $385,111.
