1 In Custody Following Women's Dorm Incident At West Chester U.
One man is in custody after police say he snuck into several women's bathrooms and bedrooms inside the dorm.

WEST CHESTER, PA — One man is in custody after police said he snuck into several women's bathrooms and bedrooms inside a dorm at West Chester University on Friday.
The incident was first reported at Schmidt Hall at around 6 p.m.
The suspect had a goatee and was wearing a black hat along with a purple West Chester University polo shirt, the school said.

In multiple instances, women in the dorm said that the man entered the bathroom and pulled back the shower curtain while they were showering.
The man then closed the curtain and left, according to accounts.

He also let himself into the bedrooms of multiple women and asked if they wanted company, the school said. When he was told no, he went on to the next room and asked the same question.
Police responded to the scene and searched for the man but were unable to find him. Authorities caught up with him and took him into custody sometime before 9 p.m. His identity - and any charges - have not been announced.
Additional patrols have been sent to dorms across campus.
