McDonald's, Melton Art Center Hold Beautification Cleanup in West Chester

Volunteers with McDonald's will help to beautify the Charles A. Melton Arts and Education Center as part of the Community Counts Day.

McDonald’s of the Greater Philadelphia Region is hosting its first Community Counts Day on July 14 by partnering with several organizations throughout the community, including Charles A. Melton Arts & Education Center in West Chester, according to a recent press release.

Local McDonald’s owners and crew members will volunteer at selected organizations throughout the region and support a number of different projects including property clean-up, assisting in summer camp activities, reading books to children or serving food to the community, the release states.

In West Chester, McDonald’s volunteers will be assisting Charles A. Melton Arts & Education Center by gardening and performing outdoor chores, according to the release.

This service project will help the organization by beautifying the property.

Charles A. Melton Arts & Education Center is most known for contributing to the quality of life for all people of the greater West Chester community by continuing its long commitment of providing educational, recreational, cultural and civic services.

The cleanup takes place on Thursday, July 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Center on 501 East Miner Street.
