"Each single number represents a pet whose life changed forever. It was truly inspirational to see so many people rally for these animals -- the amazing adopters, all of you with a full house who rallied to spread the word, our incredibly dedicated (and now exhausted!) staff and volunteers, and especially Petco Foundation for making the event possible. That's 1134 animals sleeping tonight knowing love and security because so many people came together on their behalf."

A $20 adoption fee will continue to be offered for animals from Tuesday through June 30 at the BVSCPA's campus in New Castle, which is located on 600 South Street.
