Police are investigating after they said multiple gunshots were fired overnight this week in the borough.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Police are investigating after they said multiple gunshots were fired overnight this week in the borough, which they believe were targeted at a stop sign.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 7 at around 1:45 a.m. on the 500 block of W. Chestnut Street.
Several shell casings were found on McCool Drive near Highpointe at Shanahan Development, police said.

The gunshots damaged two vehicles that were parked on the 600 block of W. Chestnut Street.
A stop sign was riddled with multiple bullet holes.
