One Thousand Expected For 'Walk MS' In West Chester

WEST CHESTER, PA — An upcoming fundraising event in West Chester aims to raise $100,000 for people living with multiple sclerosis.
The "Walk MS" event will take place on Sunday, May 6 at 9 a.m. at East Goshen Township Park, located on 1661 Paoli Pike.
Events across the nation helped raise more than $40 million, while cumulative fundraising totaled around $1 billion, organizers said.

More than a thousand people are expected at events both in Phoenixville and West Chester. The Phoenixville event will be held on Sunday, April 29 at 9 a.m. at 198 Bridge Street.
More than 42,000 participants turned out at 42 sites around the country. It's been ongoing since 1988.
