After an opening loss to Bayonne, New Jersey, they'll likely contend with standout pitcher and shortstop Kinley Rasmus, while drawing on their experience battling back through the loser's bracket in state play.

Chester County Food Bank's Fresh2You Mobile Market Brings Fresh Food to 7 Local Towns Each Week (vista.today) — Chester County Food Bank's Fresh2You Mobile Market is rolling weekly through seven towns, while also buying produce from Highland Orchards in West Chester and other local farms. The truck sells affordable fruits, vegetables, eggs, and pantry items, doubles SNAP dollars through Veggie Bucks, and offers $6 recipe bundles and cooking demos at each stop through October 30.
   

5. Bournelyf Opens New Pool Ahead of 2027 Expansion Campaign (mychesco.com subscription) — Bournelyf Special Camp in West Chester has opened a new accessible swimming pool, funded by the largest individual gift in its history from alumnus Andrew Bentley. The upgraded facility supports growing demand for inclusive aquatic programs as the camp prepares a major 2027 capital campaign to expand buildings, campus improvements, and year-round services.
