QVC Joins Over 1,000 For West Chester Heart Walk
More than 1,000 attended the recent QVC-West Chester heart walk, raising awareness for cardiovascular diseases.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- More than 100 QVC associates were among the over 1,000 participants who walked October 15 at West Goshen Park, benefiting the American Heart Association, one of QVC’s featured charities, according to QVC officials.
The focus of this year’s Heart Walk was to create hope, inspire change and celebrate successes. Cardiovascular diseases — including stroke — are the leading cause of death in the U.S. By collecting contributions, walkers in the event helped ensure funding for research to find cures, spokespersons said.
Heart Walk attendees had access to health screenings from Penn Medicine and free food and water, and enjoyed an exercise demonstration, games and activity area for kids and families, a pet zone providing dog treats and water bowls, and several sponsor and vendor booths, a release stated.
