Skanska's Philadelphia Office Helps Over 60 Patients In Local Hospitals

(Philadelphia, PA – August 26, 2016) Skanska USA’s Philadelphia area employees sponsored their 16th American Red Cross Blood Drive on August 24. Skanska employees, family members and friends participated in the event resulting in 21 donations which will help up to 63 patients in local hospitals. The American Red Cross plays a critical role in our nation’s healthcare and is the largest single supplier of blood in the United States. Skanska has extensive construction and development experience in Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley including projects such as the Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion Addition at the Franklin Institute, University of Delaware East Campus Residence Hall, and the Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children.
