Suspected Westtown Bank Robber Sought By FBI

Police said he gave the teller a note: "This is a robbery, $50 and $100 bills."

WESTTOWN, PA — Police and the FBI are asking the public's help in tracking down a suspect in a recent bank robbery in Westtown.

The incident occurred on April 3 at around 12:56 p.m. at the Wells Fargo on the 1500 block of West Chester Pike.

Police said the suspect, a muscular African-American man with a full beard, gave the teller a note reading "This is a robbery, $50 and $100 bills."

After receiving the cash, he fled the scene on foot toward West Chester Pike.

Several employees were in the bank at the time of the incident. There were no injuries.
